Meet 'The Team'
Me, me and me. I am Stacey Rosochacki, a Barkly House trained Pre-school teacher, and have trained kids and corporates in speed reading and optimal performance, based on neurological profiling etc, as well as in various remedial interventions, including Movement Therapy and Neuro-Art Therapy (for traumatic brain injury).
Back in 1999 I conceived the concept of a directory for mothers, and launched while pregnant with my second child. The directory concept and buy-in was wonderfully successful,the technology to house and store vast bits of information intuitively and simply non-existent, and having two very active kids at the time took me on other paths.
Having developed an auto-immune condition in 2009 had precluded me from teaching full-time, but I am passionate about education and kids, parents and teachers having access to the best information, resources and people, as generations lost to Apartheid is tragic, but more generations lost to continuing poor education is a travesty, and preventable!Our schools are doing very good work under very, VERY tough conditions, and need ALL the support they can get!
Most of the township schools have absolutely NO platform online, and unlike other school directories that only place the private or 'ex model C' schools, we place ALL schools on our directory, with ample opportunity for disadvantaged schools to place THEIR needs / donations needed requests right within their listing...and schools or businesses who DO donate or help, the kudo's on THEIR listing for doing so:)
Thus, being an information junky and an educator places me in a unique position to match the needs and answers within ONE platform, and allows me to still stay in touch, and work around my kids, my health and my need for income - fair, no?
