Tack and Tuck opened in 1997 to help horse riders buy quality horse tack and saddlery without having to travel all the way to Cape Town or Port Elizabeth to do so.
Growing from strength to strength It branched out into supplying quality horse feed to the Garden Route area from Mosselbay, George, Oudtshoorn and Plett. It was then bought by Paul Davison in 2007 and moved to our current huge premises on 19 Foundry Street in the George Industrial area.
In 2009 we opened our website at http://www.tackandtuck.co.za/ providing quality and affordable horse riding equipment, horse feed & dog food, rider gear, horse accessories, clothing & veterinary products. Stocking a large variety of bridles, saddles, horse bits, riding boots and general tack.
Tack and Tuck also offers Southern Africa's largest second hand tack section, have a horsebox rental service that operates in the Southern Cape, mainly in the Garden Route.
We believe we have a knowledgeable tack shop with almost over 100 years of equestrian knowledge behind us and have therefore made it our motto of the Tack shop “where Knowledge matters”.
We strive to be the best tack shop in the area and one of the best in South Africa offering advice as well as the top products and tack that the market has to offer.
